The MB Ag Days Adventure focuses on the theme, think global, act local.

First, students are given a perspective on global issues through their participation in the World Game. Students become part of a model of the world and a real life experience of ratio and proportion.  They also experience global land and population distribution and density, food security, similarities and differences in agriculture production and agriculture import and export.

Then as part of a team, students discover the importance of our local Manitoba agriculture industry by following clues to find out awesome information about agriculture and agriculture careers from participating booths at Manitoba Ag Days in the Keystone Centre.

Many curriculum connections to Gr. 7 Social Studies, Grade 7 and Grade 8 math, Grade 7 and Grade 8 science and science, technology, society and environment as well as introducing students to agriculture careers in Manitoba.

Schools will be reimbursed a percentage of their transportation costs – the actual coverage is dependent upon the number of schools participating.

"This is better than any field trip.  Educational and interactive! The students had a great time."
