Are you passionate about agriculture? Do you enjoy sharing your views with others?

Then enter AITC-M’s “Speaking of Agriculture” Speech Competition happening at The Discover Agriculture in the City Event
 

PRIZES

First Prize
$100.00 and an all expense paid trip for the winner and a chaperone to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto to compete in the Canadian Young Speakers for Agriculture Competition in November.

Second Prize
$75.00

Honourable Mentions
$25.00

TOPICS 

Your five to seven minute speech must be on one of these five agriculture topics set for the 2016 competition year:

  • What is the impact of public opinion on Canadian Farmers? 
  • How would you explain GMO to a non-farmer?
  • What does the next generation of Agriculture bring to the table?
  • How can we improve the media’s perception of Canadian Agriculture?
  • Old MacDonald had a farm…but what about Mrs. MacDonald?

AITC-M uses the Competition Rules set by the Canadian Young Speakers for Agriculture which can be viewed here.
